executives. Ashton Tweed will recruit and hire a number of key management positions for this Italian headquartered company. For
this client, we are currently recruiting for the following positions:

BioPortUSA Travels to Italy
BioPortUSA, a commercialization accelerator for life sciences companies entering the United States market,
has been on the move since its launch at the BIO 2007 International Convention in Boston. While at BIO 2007, BioPortUSA’s CEO Jim
Laird and COO Jordan Warshafsky were kept busy with a full slate of meetings with global companies looking to commercialize in the
United States.
As an outcome of these meetings, Jordan Warshafsky and Jim Laird traveled in July to Milan and Parma to meet with Italian life
sciences companies. In Italy, Jim and Jordan were pleased to find that the BioPortUSA partnership of service providers working
together to simplify U.S. market entry was well received by Italian companies considering coming to the United States.
Milan’s historic Duomo
"Our visit to Italy allowed us to see how Italian bioscience companies work firsthand and granted us valuable insight into the
Italian market. Because of our visit, we better understand the needs of Italian companies that are considering commercializing
their products in the United States," said BioPortUSA CEO Jim Laird.
Rather than trying to navigate U.S. market entry on their own, foreign-based companies can take advantage of BioPortUSA's
coordinated services to simplify the U.S. market entry process. By engaging BioPortUSA, client companies can access a menu of
core professional services all in one place that will enable them to correctly determine their early investment and accelerate the
commercialization process for their product lines.
