Jim is the founder of Ashton Tweed and co-creator of the Life Sciences Talent Bank. He has specialized in identifying talent in the life sciences industry for over 25 years. Ashton Tweed was formed in 2004 to combine the flexibility and versatility of Interim Talent (highly skilled professionals on a project basis) with the art and refinement of Executive Search (very specialized talent on a retained, permanent basis). Jim is passionate about providing superior services to both candidates and clients alike. Jim and his wife have four children, and he enjoys the Philadelphia restaurant scene and the occasional Ashton cigar!

Jordan has over 40 years of life science industry experience with an extensive background in pharmaceuticals, medical devices and biotechnology. A co-creator of the Life Sciences Talent Bank, he has previously held industry senior corporate-level leadership positions in business development, global marketing and strategic planning to include being the President of a start-up life science company. Jordan is active in the regional Angel investment community and is on the Board of Mid Atlantic Diamond Ventures and on the Life Sciences screening committee for the Delaware Crossing Investment Group. Jordan is also active with BioNJ and Life Sciences PA and other organizations. He is married with three wonderful sons, enjoys traveling internationally, and spending time with friends and family.

Lea has over 25 years of executive recruiting experience, with over 16 years devoted to the life sciences industry. She works in all areas of placement within the Life Sciences, with a focus on interim, interim-to-hire, and permanent positions at the executive level. Lea pioneers the development of creative strategies to identify and connect with top candidates. In addition, she works closely with Ashton Tweed partners to meet business development goals and retain client business. Due to her enthusiasm, creativity, and focus, she is a self-starter that can tackle any project. Lea also loves spending time with family, friends, her dog Bailey, traveling, live music and working out.

Robert brings over 30 years of experience driving strategic recruitment initiatives in the pharmaceutical and life sciences segments and provides unparalleled support to his clients as a talent and trusted business adviser. Prior to joining Ashton Tweed, Robert was a Vice President and Principal at another mid-sized life science retained firm. Earlier experience includes a global leadership role at Novartis as Global Staffing Head for both the Clinical Development Franchises and Drug Safety and Epidemiology, and Head of Staffing for the US Development organization. Additional talent roles prior included Roche, Sanofi, Wyeth, Pfizer, and Aventis. Outside of the office, Robert is an accomplished musician and plays the tuba in the renowned NJ-based Hanover Wind Symphony. He also enjoys spending time with his family, music and hiking.

Mary brings 20+ years of strategic and tactical search techniques to attract top quality candidates and has been associated with Ashton Tweed since 2004. Prior to joining Ashton Tweed, Mary enjoyed a rewarding career with Diversified Search, where she was instrumental in managing multiple on-going high profile executive searches across all disciplines. On the Corporate side, Mary worked with Lincoln Financial Group as a Staffing Consultant responsible for determining staffing needs. Mary is married and appreciates travel, music/dance, cooking, and spending time with her adult children.

Jodi is happy to be overseeing the accounting at Ashton Tweed as well as handling other administrative duties. She graduated from Millersville University and has worked with a variety of different businesses. Jodi has a love for numbers and finances, but she truly enjoys the balance of accounting and administrative tasks along with getting to connect with Ashton Tweed’s candidates and clients from all around the country. She is the main point of contact and deftly manages the tracking for our interim consultants during engagements with clients. Jodi is a mom to three amazing daughters, and enjoys music, working out, spending time in the mountains, and cooking.

Lindsey graduated from West Chester University with a BS in Accounting and began her professional career as a tax accountant at Arthur Andersen. Over the past 20 years she has gained additional experience in general accounting, finance, and executive administration. She loves crunching numbers and analyzing data. Lindsey is excited to join the Ashton Tweed team in a role that allows her to utilize her current strengths to help identify and present candidates that best fit client requirements. Lindsey enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending her children’s sporting events, listening to music, and relaxing by the ocean.

Kevin Stroop is a data-driven executive recruiting consultant with a scientific background and more than ten years of experience in life sciences and talent acquisition. He specializes in biotech and pharma searches at the senior and executive levels, leading small teams, mentoring recruiters, and improving performance through advanced analytics and KPIs.

Previously, Kevin provided full-cycle recruitment for life sciences organizations from director through C -Suite level, developing sophisticated analytics tools to optimize pipeline health and funnel metrics and serving as a subject matter expert on scientific and corporate recruiting. Earlier in his career, he managed recruiting programs for federal health agencies, leading junior recruiters, significantly improving time-to-fill and hiring metrics, and generating millions in revenue through corporate, scientific and technical placements.
