Pfizer adds $500M to gene therapy manufacturing plant where it will hire 300 workers
In a race for its initial gene therapies, Pfizer is injecting another $500M into a manufacturing plant in North Carolina and plans to hire another 300 workers. The facility will provide backing to its other gene therapy R&D facilities in Chapel Hill and Kit Creek.
