Recruitment Metrics

Share

Best-in-class employers incorporate recruiting metrics into their recruiting processes. These companies use recruiting metrics to improve workforce planning and drive financial return on human-capital investment.

As an example of how key metrics work, in 2006 a special team headed by the Recruiting Operations Manager of Eli Lilly U.S. began designing a new recruitment metrics system for the company. After the recruiting metrics conversion, Lilly achieved great improvement in both recruiting efficiency and workforce planning.

In another example, prior to 2007 the recruiting system of Ryder Systems of Miami was not cost effective. By using recruiting metrics, Ryder improved efficiency and transparency and lowered costs.

Key metrics can help a company’s HR evaluate and hire the best-fit candidate for the job and team.
