Sanofi And Verily Life Sciences Announce Launch Of Onduo
Sanofi and Verily Life Sciences, formerly Google Life Sciences, announced the launch of Onduo, a joint venture created through their diabetes-focused collaboration. Onduo’s mission is to help people with diabetes live better lives by combining devices, software, medicine, and professional care to develop simple and intelligent disease management solutions.
Onduo will be led by Chief Executive Officer, Joshua Riff, M.D., M.B.A., and is based in Kendall Square in Cambridge. The company will combine Verily’s experience in electronics, analytics, and software development, and Sanofi’s clinical expertise in innovative diabetes treatments.
Onduo will initially focus on type 2 diabetes and then expand to type 1 diabetes and eventually to people at risk of developing diabetes.
