Novartis picks Geneva over Texas for new Alcon eyecare HQ
Novartis is officially moving Alcon’s headquarters from Fort Worth, Texas, to Geneva, Switzerland in order to strengthen the eyecare unit’s Swiss presence ahead of its planned spinoff in 2019.
Alcon already has a presence in Switzerland and will have up to 700 employees across the country after the move. The new headquarters will be by Alcon’s current Europe, Middle East and Africa regional office and close to the Geneva airport.
